During praise and worship, we also heard the piano sound like “string” in between intro/chorus or at the end of the song. those sound are beautiful and fill up the emptiness of the song, this is piano fill in method. and the “string” method is usually using arpeggio fill in method.
the very simple and sound nice arpeggion fill in method we can use is 1-2-3-5 (if this is C key, the notes should be pressed are C-D-E-G) in arpeggio way. Again Simple to say about arpeggio way is you play the notes in the “waves” style, note by note. You can play this up to 2 octave to make it sounds better.
Of course there are also many others fill in method you can use like 1-3-5-6-8. Remind that the first 1 should be from your left hand while 3-5-6-8 should from your right hand and repeat again your left hand with 3-5-6-8. See how it is sound.

Improvisation skill is essential skill for musician during praise and worship. Musician always improvise during “free” worship period and with the flow of holy spirit.
Simple improvisation can be create by holding the I note (lets say we use C key then C would be the I note) and play rhythmatically on other note which belongs to it particular key scale. Always a simple sound nice add notes would be around VI note (A) and IX/II note (D).
For example, with repeatively playing I, II, V in appregio mode on your right hand with appropariate chord progression ( try on I, VI, IV, V chord progression or I, III, IV, V ) on your left hand, you will simply get sound nice improvised music feel here.
Of course improvisation is really depending on self creativity and of course with spirit of God you may improvise it with deepest leading people to our God.
